Bernie Lautrette is a people and culture focused professional with 25 years’ experience in the animation industry. Currently Artist Director at Netflix, her extensive career began in production technology at Disney during the making of Lion King and Pocahontas. Her trajectory then brought her to several studios including Warner Bros, Cinesite and DreamWorks Animation supporting films such as How to Train Your Dragon and Kung Fu Panda through production and artist management, talent acquisition and development, diversity and inclusion.

Her early career experiences of often being the "only" in the room fueled her passion to organically weave diversity, equity and inclusion into her leadership style. She held the first diversity and inclusion position at DreamWorks Animation and was a co-founder of the DreamWorks Animation chapter of the national Comcast/NBCU TECHWomen.
