Social Media Manager

Monica Rodriguez comes from a family of three children. She is the first person in her family to graduate from college obtaining three associate degrees in Animation Production, Art, Broadcast Journalism, and a bachelor's degree in Journalism. Currently Monica is pursuing her career in Digital Marketing and working at Papi Digital as their Digital Marketing Coordinator.

Monica grew up watching animated movies, TV shows, and anime that brought a love of watching how characters who overcame impossible challenges throughout the characters’ lives and overcame them and eventually accomplished their life goals with hard work and persistence. Growing up Monica concluded even if there is a brick wall or gate keepers that are in her way, of accomplishing her goals she will meet those challenges and overcome them until she reaches her goals.

Monica saw her classmates, friends, and other people who came from the same background, struggling to get into the animation and entertainment industry. She wanted to find a way to help others to give of her time and experience to others and make it easier to learn about the industry. That is when she learned about LatinX in Animation, a nonprofit organization and wanted to lend her talents in social media marketing. During her free time, she is the Social Media Manager for LatinX in Animation. Responsible for promoting social media events, and helping others learn about the animation and entertainment industry.
